KPMG in the UK is part of a global organisation of independent firms that offers Audit, Consulting, Tax & Law and Technology services. Through the talent of over 16,000 people, we turn insights into opportunities, making a positive difference for businesses, people and communities.
Audit at KPMG Audit is about more than simply meeting legal requirements. It helps organisations operate more efficiently, mitigate financial risks and build public trust in businesses to support sustainable growth. The world’s major organisations look to KPMG’s Audit practice for insight, challenge and expertise, delivered through examining operating practices and providing a true and fair reflection of financial position in published accounts.
Audit Graduate Programme The programme provides exposure to a diverse and complex range of business activities. As a graduate trainee you’ll work on engagements, view the auditing process from multiple perspectives, and develop skills and learning that last a lifetime. You’ll play a direct role in critically assessing information provided by organisations, supported by senior leaders, engagement leaders, peers and the broader Audit community. This role requires integrity, professional scepticism, objectivity, independence and a strong ethical foundation. Over three years you’ll combine audit delivery and study toward a professional qualification (ACA, or CA equivalent in Scotland) and may work in a specific industry sector or across various industries depending on the office you join. After qualification, you can continue building a varied long-term career with enhanced technical skills and broad commercial understanding.
Training And Benefits
Over the three-year programme you’ll combine audit delivery and study toward a skilled qualification – the ACA, or CA equivalent in Scotland. We offer a competitive salary and benefits, including 25 days’ holiday, study leave and a day off on your birthday. Each year you can take up to six days of voluntary time off for volunteering initiatives. Our hybrid working model balances remote work with in-office collaboration. Some travel is likely for audit work and busy periods may occur seasonally.
See The Whole Picture KPMG is a place where you can be yourself and give your best—whatever your background. We consider strengths, values and motivations in addition to academic results. If you’re collaborative and people-oriented, that can be as important as your technical skills. See the programme page on our Careers Portal for entry requirements and the Applying to KPMG guidance.
