What are we looking for?
Our National Abuse team is growing, and we are now seeking a Junior Legal Assistant to join our Newcastle office. This is a full‑time position offering flexible work arrangements, a 1:1 working partnership supporting a lawyer or law clerk in a very busy practice. You will be integral to supporting and driving the practice from an administration level, and your energy and drive will help achieve successful outcomes.
Typical day
* Providing a great level of care and support to our clients in a professional manner
* Supporting the team with general file management and administration
* Coordinating appointments for our lawyers, medico‑legal appointments for our clients, conferences and mediations
* Communicating with clients, insurers and other professionals both in writing and verbally
* Preparing legal correspondence and compiling court documents
