Overview
Imatech Joinery Services is currently seeking Joiners for several in office roles located in Hobart, TAS. As one of our expert team of Joiners, you ensure precision in finish carpentry and use both hand and power tools safely and effectively.
We have 3 and 5-axis CNC machines, and welcome those interested in combining traditional joinery with next-era precision manufacturing. These are varied positions in a dynamic and growing business, who will in addition to project and recurring work, may be tasked with upskilling and mentoring an apprentice or two.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Carpentry and Finish Carpentry (and/or Furniture making).
Proficiency with Power Tools and knowledge of Hand Tools and traditional joinery
Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
Ability to read technical drawings
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks
Relevant certifications or trade qualifications are preferred, however,
