About the job General Practitioner, MM3 & DPA
Location: Armidale, NSW
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Practitioner to join a busy team in Armidale, NSW. This position is open to both Australian and overseas trained doctors who hold a specialist general practice qualification recognised by the RACGP.
As a General Practitioner in Armidale, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide comprehensive medical care to individuals and families in the Armidale community. You will work alongside a team of experienced healthcare professionals, including nurses, allied health practitioners and support staff, to deliver high-quality, patient‐centered care.
Responsibilities
* Conducting consultations with patients to assess and diagnose medical conditions
* Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications and referrals to specialists
* Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations
* Maintaining accurate and up‐to‐date patient records
* Providing health education and preventative care advice to patients
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care for patients
* Participating in practice meetings and professional development activities
Requirements
* Medical degree from a recognised institution
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or ability to gain this
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Commitment to providing high-quality, patient‐centered care
* Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
