MACA Mining are seeking an experienced Leading hand HD Fitter to join our field team at our Gruyere project.
The Gruyere Gold Mine is an open pit operation located within the Yamarna greenstone belt approximately 200 kilometres east of Laverton in Western Australia.
Some of the fleet you can expect to work on include CAT Shovel, Sandvik DR410i, DI650i, DP drills, Komatsu PC and Liebherr excavators.
Key Responsibilities
* Possess a positive leadership style, with exceptional time‐management skills and the ability to pivot around priorities while providing guidance, assistance, and supervision to the maintenance team.
* Manage performance, planning servicing, repair and preventative maintenance of heavy mobile mining equipment.
* Ensure work health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
* Ensure all required paperwork is completed to a high standard by tradespeople.
* Must be proactive in the workplace to ensure quality work is being completed.
* Must comply with reasonable requests from the supervisor.
To be successful in this role, you will have
* Relevant Australian Recognised Trade Certificate.
* Minimum of 2 years post‐trade experience working on heavy mining equipment.
* Good knowledge of work health and safety policies and procedures.
* Good leadership and people skills.
* Basic computer skills.
