Grange Resources Tasmania is on the lookout for a Rotating Shift Electrician to join our operation in Port Latta.
In this role, the successful candidate will undertake project work, service equipment and perform preventative maintenance tasks and repairs.
Roster: 4/4 rotational shift
Day to day
In this role you will be responsible for:
* Be responsible for Electrical, Instrumentation & Gas Facilitiles maintenance and repairs to fixed and/ or mobile equipment
* Provide the skills and knowledge of the plant process to diagnose and correct all Electrical equipments
* Identify and control all hazards associated with electrical maintenance duties
* Report and assign clean-up for all hydrocarbon spills
* Attend and conduct safety toolbox and per-shift meetings
Who you are
To be successful in this role you have:
* Capability and commitment to work safely in an isolated environment with minimal supervision
* Experience in High Voltage up to 22KV
* Certificate III in Instrumentation (would be beneficial but not necessary)
* Type B Restricted Gas Licence (advantageous but not essential)
* Work to AS3000 & all related Electrical Australian Standards
* Isolations uo to 415v & limited 3.3kv
* Current Electrical Technicians Licence
* Background in Mining or Mineral processing environment

We're Grange Resources, Australia's oldest and most experienced magnetite producer - combining both mining and pellet production expertise. Based in northwest Tasmania, we own and operate Australia's largest integrated iron ore mining and pellet production business.
Grange holds long term supply contracts for one million tonnes of its annual production and offers the balance of its production to market via a spot sales tendering/contracting process.
Port Latta
The Port Latta pellet plant and ship loading facility, located 70kms north-west of Burnie, is wholly owned and operated by Grange Resources. It produces over 2.2 million tonnes of premium quality iron ore product annually.
The Port Latta worksite is only an hours drive away from the vibrant coastal towns of north-west Tasmania, which offers a fantastic regional lifestyle and is only an hour's flight from Melbourne with regular services from airports at Burnie, Devonport and Launceston.
