Casual Fitness Trainers
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from appropriately qualified professionals in fitness to join our team as casual fitness trainers as part of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) project.
In this role, you will deliver pre‐entry fitness assessments and strength and conditioning sessions for ADF candidates, following ADF protocols, leading group class instruction, and ensuring safe exercise practice. You will also contribute to the smooth daily operation of the facility by providing exceptional customer service, assisting with membership processing, and responding to enquiries.
Position Requirements
* Minimum completion of a Certificate IV in Fitness and/or ASCA Level 1 (both highly desirable).
* Experience working within a gymnasium, with a proven ability to produce quality training programs and class instruction for clients.
* Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cooperatively in a team‐based environment to provide effective customer service.
* Demonstrated understanding of workplace health and safety obligations, and a willingness to undertake tasks in accordance with these obligations.
* Knowledge in the use of MS Office and associated gym database systems.
* Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or ability to acquire prior to commencement.
