As a Cargo Agent, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of air cargo services. Your key responsibilities will include monitoring and overseeing the service provided by Ground Handling Agents (GHAs) to ensure it meets Emirates' standards.
You will be responsible for tracking import cargo receipt and breakdown, resolving any related issues, and preparing and verifying accurate cargo documentation. This includes monitoring consignment status and ensuring correct documentation is available in accordance with local regulations and company policies.
Your duties will also involve updating flight handling reports, identifying and monitoring irregularities and discrepancies, and dispatching post-flight information to relevant departments in a timely manner.
In addition, you will receive and process cargo telephone reservations, resolve customer queries, complaints, and claims, including those escalated by Cargo Agents. You will also provide support, guidance, and coaching to junior team members and complete administrative tasks as directed by the Cargo Supervisor/Officer.

Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in an Airline/Cargo Operations environment.
* At least 2 years' experience as a Cargo Agent (or equivalent).
* Knowledge of Dangerous Goods regulations and ideally hold a DG certificate.
* Knowledge of Weight & Balance procedures and Live Animal Regulation.
* PC-based skills, including Microsoft Word/Excel/E-mail.
* Fluency in English and the language of the country you are working in.
