About the role
As a qualified and experienced Electrician, you will play a vital role in supporting the Maintenance Team at BOC. In this key role, you will provide essential electrical and instrumentation support to ensure safe operations and maximise plant uptime through effective preventative maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will work across daily maintenance tasks, shutdowns, instrumentation calibration, and minor project work, contributing directly to the performance, safety, and reliability to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our facilities.
What you'll be doing
- Carry out general electrical maintenance and repair work on plant, equipment and installations
- Undertake fault-finding and diagnostics on electrical and instrumentation systems
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation assets
- Work closely with the engineering and operations teams to identify and resolve issues
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance practices and procedures
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations
What Makes you great:
- Qualified Electrician with a current Australian electrical license
- Extensive experience in an industrial maintenance electrician or instrumentation role
- Solid knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, circuits and controls
- Proficient in fault-finding, diagnostics and problem-solving
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
