Job Title: Master Data Administrator
Minimum Qualifications / Experience
* Applicants must possess a Grade 12 certificate and have relevant experience
* Must be in possession of a valid unendorsed RSA Driver's license
* 2 – 3 years' experience in master data management; data administration or ERP support
* Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage X3, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics)
* Understanding of master data domains (customer, vendor, material, finance)
* Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, data validation, imports)
* Previous experience in a corporate IT or shared service environment preferred
* Relevant tertiary qualifications advantageous
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
* Able to work in a team
* Ability to follow structured processes and controls
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement
* Demonstrate excellent time management skills
* Ability to multitask and to work under pressure
Duties And Responsibilities (not Limited To)
* Ensure accuracy; integrity, consistency and governance of master data
* Create; maintain and control master data in accordance with defined data standards, policies and rules
* Validate data inputs against approved template and business rules
* Perform mass uploads and data corrections
* Enforce data governance policies, standards and procedures
* Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements and regulatory standards, and maintain audit trails
* Participate in data governance forums and initiatives
* Monitor and measure data quality, and resolve inconsistencies
* Execute periodic data cleansing
* Follow and document standard operating procedures (SOP;s) for master data processes
* Assist in system enhancements and testing related to master data
* Interface with business users (Finance, Procurement, Operations, Sales etc.)
* Be a point of contact for master data requests and queries
* Support integration of master data across all systems
Medical Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the Company standards for medical fitness.
