**Join the Dog and Cat Management Board as a Compliance Officer.**
The Dog and Cat Management Board is seeking a detail-oriented and customer focused **Compliance Officer** to support the implementation of the **Dog and Cat Management Act 1995** across South Australia.
**About the Role**:
As Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in helping councils and the community meet legislative responsibilities related to the ownership and management of dogs and cats. You will:
- Provide advice and guidance to councils, breeders, assistance dog handlers, trainers, and the public.
- Develop and implement compliance programs that deliver the Dog and Cat Management Board's statutory responsibilities, in line with the Board's strategic directions.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- A strong understanding of legislative compliance and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Experience working in a regulatory, animal welfare, or government environment (highly desirable).

**Contract**:
Two Year Contract
**Special Conditions**:
- May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- A current class "C" driver's licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4wd is essential.
- May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel and work outside of the normal hours of work.
**Remuneration**:
ASO5, $85,790 min - $95,413 max p.a.
