Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled Dry Fire Estimator to join their team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work on major projects, with scope values ranging from $100k to $5m, across high-rise commercial, residential, healthcare, and infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop precise and comprehensive cost estimates for dry fire protection systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
2. Work closely with an experienced Fire Services Estimator to evaluate project scope and costs comprehensively.
3. Analyze technical documents, including blueprints and specifications, to determine project requirements.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to gather competitive pricing and project insights.
5. Monitor project progress and make adjustments to estimates as needed to accommodate changes or unforeseen issues.
6. Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and regulations throughout the estimation process.
Key Requirements:
1. Strong fire electrical background, with experience in either a trade or an engineering capacity.
2. Proven track record in estimating dry fire protection systems and a deep understanding of relevant codes and standards.
3. Ability to interpret complex technical documents and provide accurate cost assessments.
4. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
5. Experience in high-rise commercial, residential, healthcare, or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
