Deliver high-quality podiatry services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Central Australia.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide support for clients with diabetes-related foot complications and other lower limb pathology.
* Work within established scope of practice and receive ongoing supervision from senior podiatrists.
* Collaborate across various primary health programs, including chronic conditions, community health programs, national disability insurance scheme, and medicare.
This role involves regular overnight travel to remote communities and requires adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Required qualifications include:
* Bachelor's degree in podiatry or equivalent tertiary qualification.
* Current registration with the Australian health practitioner regulation agency.
* First aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.
* Ability to travel to and work in remote locations.
