- ** Remuneration**: $135,483 to $153,562 pa (HEW8) (inclusive of $114,485 to $129,761 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

**Who are we looking for?**
We are seeking a Research Hub Manager to join School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering.

QUT is seeking a dynamic and experienced Hub Manager to support the ARC-funded IoT for Water Research Hub. The role involves coordinating research activities, managing partnerships, ensuring compliance, and facilitating industry engagement. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact, multi-institutional research initiative driving innovation in sustainable water development.

**What you need to succeed**
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications. or progress towards postgraduate qualifications with extensive relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage large, transdisciplinary teams; support directors; provide positive leadership to staff; and connect and collaborate with diverse groups across various universities and industry partners.
- Proven xperience in project planning, including developing timelines, milestones, and performance review criteria to track and assess project progress and outcomes.
- Demonstrated resource, financial management and budgeting experience, preferably in the operation of a Centre/Hub/entity, such as contract and grant management.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high-volume, high-demand role, effectively managing time and tasks to monitor and progress multiple projects and teams simultaneously; meeting competing deadlines without compromising quality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, be able to prepare clear and concise reports, plans and complex correspondence using a variety of digital technologies.
