The Opportunity

The HSE Business Partner role provides strategic and tactical HSE support to Home and Distribution, Power Products and Marketing business units operating across the Pacific Zone. You will be accountable for implementing HSE System requirements, defining and delivering targeted programs to enhance HSE performance, culture and compliance. Reporting to the HSE Director, Pacific Zone, you will act as the single point of contact for senior and people leaders on all HSE matters. You may work on‑site at multiple Pacific locations and may need infrequent interstate travel. The role is full time, five days a week, based in Macquarie Park, NSW.


Specific objectives and responsibilities

* Act as the single point of contact for HSE matters in Home and Distribution, Power Products and Marketing.
* Develop and implement HSE Management Plans, including a HSE risk register and standard control measures aligned with Pacific and global requirements.
* Facilitate HSE Governance and Assurance programs to verify control implementation and effectiveness.
* Define and develop targeted initiatives and programs, in consultation with the HSE Director and team, to enhance HSE culture, compliance and performance.
* Lead major investigations and oversee minor investigations for HSE incidents, injuries/illnesses and near‑misses in these business units.
* Oversee HSE communications relevant to these business units.
* Champion and drive implementation of sustainability initiatives related to HSE for Macquarie Park Head Office.
* Oversee HSE and emergency preparedness & response requirements for Macquarie Park, excluding technical requirements for labs and minor works construction projects.


About You

You will have a minimum of five years of experience in a similar corporate role in Australia. You possess an excellent understanding of HSE Management System implementation and record keeping, ensuring legal compliance and effective stakeholder management. A tertiary qualification in HSE Management or equivalent, together with a well‑practiced understanding of operational and people risks in a corporate environment, is required.
