Job Description
Drive Business Growth and Risk Optimization as a Manager of Credit Analytics.
As a valued member of our team, you will leverage your analytical expertise to support the execution of our credit risk optimization strategy. Working closely with senior stakeholders and internal partners, you will proactively manage critical quantitative models and tools used in the origination and management of retail lending products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design automated decisioning acquisition strategies and models to support existing and new products.
* Ensure credit risk models and tools are designed in line with our Model Risk framework, including appropriate monitoring and review that drives continuous improvement.
* Maintain and monitor data and reporting for credit risk tools and provide succinct summaries to executive and credit committees.
* Leverage colleagues in the Credit Risk team to drive outcomes across credit oversight, policy, and loan decisioning tools.
* Develop and design regular reporting and analysis relating to application trends, new originations, and portfolio.
* Support recurring and ad hoc quantitative analysis to ensure portfolio health is understood and identify opportunities to better manage risk-return.
* Conduct portfolio stress testing to further support credit insights and contribute to enterprise stress testing and ICAAP.
* Execute and manage credit risk strategy, including design, business requirements, test planning, and execution, model governance, data requirements, etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
You will have:
* 5+ years' experience in credit risk management roles within Financial Services.
* Strong understanding of commonly used credit tools and decision engines and how to create best value through their use.
* Proficient with data extraction, manipulation, and analysis (DataBricks and/or SQL).
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Familiarity with the Australian market, regulations (APRA, ASIC, AFCA).
