Our state government client is seeking an experienced
Solution Architect
to drive strategic Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure automation initiatives across both school and corporate environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, engages confidently with stakeholders, and brings a strong technical foundation in cloud architecture, security, and automation.
About the Role
You will lead the assessment, design, and enhancement of M365 utilisation across diverse user groups, ensuring the platform is aligned with both operational and school‑specific needs. A major focus of the role will be developing integration strategies, strengthening security posture, and creating automation frameworks using Azure technologies.
You will also play a key role in executive reporting, shaping communication strategies for M365 updates, and ensuring seamless adoption across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and assess current Microsoft 365 utilisation different environments
* Develop integration strategies to improve platform consistency and performance.
* Enhance communication and change management processes for M365 updates (Message Centre, Microsoft resources).
* Identify and implement school‑focused M365 solutions for overseas trips, camps, and emergency scenarios.
* Improve security posture through optimisation of Microsoft Defender and best‑practice security frameworks.
* Build clear, visually engaging executive reporting frameworks (dashboards, roadmaps, metrics).
* Design and implement automation using Azure Automation, PowerShell, Logic Apps, and orchestration tools to support M365, identity, and enterprise operations.

* Extensive hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 architecture and solutions.
* Proven expertise in Microsoft Defender and security frameworks.
* Strong experience with Azure Automation, PowerShell, Logic Apps, and orchestration technologies.
* Experience developing executive‑level reporting, dashboards, and roadmaps.
