Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeA$109,000.00/yr - A$173,000.00/yrFull time, 2 years fixed term, located on the Camperdown Campus at the School of PsychologyResearch Associate / Fellow (Project Manager) sought for national-study of childhood trauma, adversity, and child mental health (MRFF-funded; led by Professor David HawesBase Salary $109,301 - $173,492 (Level A/B) p.a + 17% superannuationAbout the opportunityThe School of Psychology at the University of Sydney are currently seeking an experienced Research Associate / Fellow (Project Manager) who will lead project management of a 2-year national project on childhood trauma and adversity funded by the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF), in the School of Psychology, University of Sydney.This project will develop innovative clinical assessment practices for use with families of children who have experienced trauma and adversity, including those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Research methods incorporate the large-scale collection and analysis of psychometric/normative data, as well as intensive co-design and qualitative interviewing.Your key responsibilities will be to:lead project management (e.g. communicate with stakeholders across multiple institutions; oversee project budget, hire/supervise project staff)develop and implement research procedures with vulnerable families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds (e.g., online data-collection; parent interviews; co-design)data management and analysis, literature reviews, writing publicationsensure that research ethics requirements and standards are met for the project.exercise a high degree of initiative and judgement in coordinating multiple activities concurrently, including hiring, managing and supervising junior researchers, and resolving complex issues associated with project deliverywork with a range of staff across multiple project teams and stakeholders in the University environment to meet objectivesusing previous project management and administration experience, the Associate will resolve issues and utilise knowledge of project management to be successful in the role.About youThe University values courage and creativity; openness and engagement; inclusion and diversity; and respect and integrity.
