Job Title: Freedom of Information Specialist
The role involves providing expert advice and support in the administration of freedom of information requests, legal matters, and property management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Freedom of Information (FOI) Advice: Provide high-quality advice on FOI matters to internal stakeholders and external parties.
* Liaison with Regulatory Bodies: Liaise with the Office of the Victorian Information Commissioner to ensure timely and accurate responses to FOI requests.
* FOI Request Processing: Receive, assess, and process FOI requests in accordance with applicable laws and guidelines.
* Annual Reporting: Prepare and submit annual reports on FOI activity, as required by law.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act 1982, excellent communication skills, and experience in providing high-quality customer service.
