We are seeking skilled welders to join our team of boilermakers and welders at our workshops located in Corio.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for trade qualified welders with extensive experience in GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG), and/or SMAW (Stick) to join our team.
* Interpret welding procedure specifications to determine the necessary consumables and variables for the welding process
* Operate and maintain measuring tools, power tools, hand tools, and welding machines required to produce fabricated parts
Required Skills & Qualifications
Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication trade - Welder or equivalent
Adequate welding skills to pass welder qualification test
Considerable experience in GMAW (MIG) welding
Experience with other welding processes GTAW (TIG), (Flux-core) and/or SMAW (Stick) is advantageous
Experience with stainless steel is advantageous
Ability to read and interpret WPS (welding procedure specification)
Skilled in operating equipment used in fabrication
Current and valid driver's license
Candidates with a forklift, dogman (DG) and/or high-risk work licenses are encouraged to apply
