Hays Procurement is currently looking to engage a Contracts Manager.
Your new company
You will join a major Queensland Government department. The program needs a Principal Advisor with strong contract management skills and a clear understanding of commercial performance frameworks.
Your new role
You will be responsible for:
Managing all contractual activity
Apply project controls to track contract, quality and performance outcomes
Maintain clear working relations with project, legal and operational teams
Prepare clear, high‑quality reports and submissions on complex contract and program issues
Support the Contracts, Performance and Operations team with priority tasks
What you'll need to succeed
Strong contract management experience in large, complex government programs
Knowledge of commercial frameworks and operational performance requirements
Skill in reviewing contract obligations, performance data and risk indicators
Clear communication skills and strong stakeholder management
