The Project & Opportunity
Acciona has been awarded the Design & Construct contract for the Singleton Bypass. This major project will see construction of 8km of single lane highway with approximately 2.5 km of bridge structures and upgrades to local intersections. This diverse and challenging project has a 2 year construction program ensuring longevity in your role and presenting opportunities to grow within the business.
For this project, we are looking for a Quality Engineer to provide support to establish quality and completion systems and controls to successfully deliver the project.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the establishment of Project Plans and procedures
* Liaise with stakeholders to resolve issues relating to quality and completion.
* Assist with the development of asset registers and liaising with stakeholders to obtain the respective approvals from relevant representatives.
* Liaise with auditors and ensure the execution of corrective actions is put in place.
* Monitor the completion of quality records.
* Assist with the establishment of quality and completion performance reports.
* Ensure compliance with all quality standards and legislation.
Required Skills And Competencies
* Tertiary Qualification in Civil engineering or related discipline
* Experience with Quality Management Systems in accordance with ISO 9000
* Prior experience in a similar role on a large infrastructure project
* Build and maintain stakeholder relationships
* Excellent communication and problem-solving mindset
* Advanced Microsoft Suite skills (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
