The Geelong Clinic is a private psychiatric hospital offering inpatient, day programs, and outreach services for individuals experiencing mental health problems. We offer free onsite parking and a variety of staff benefits.Reception/Administration Officer - Casual PositionAn excellent opportunity exists for a highly motivated and suitably qualified individual to join our administration team. This casual role involves front reception duties, including both day and afternoon shifts. Start date is ASAP.Responsibilities include:Answering and redirecting callsOrganising appointments and preparing admission paperworkMaintaining accurate record management systems, including medical recordsPerforming Health Fund Checks as requiredManaging collection of excesses/co-paymentsCoordinating with staff from other departmentsCompleting clerical tasks such as data entryDesirable competencies and qualifications:Previous reception and administration experienceHigh initiative and ability to work with minimal supervisionExperience in the health industryExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExperience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Ability to work independently and in a teamFlexibility to work various shifts, including early/late and weekendsWebPas Hospital system experience (desired)Why Healthscope?Joining Healthscope means becoming part of our Community of Care.
