You will be involved in the care and management of surgical inpatients as well as attend outpatient clinics both at a tertiary metropolitan hospital and in a remote regional centre. This is a great opportunity for you to gain procedural competence in many aspects of these surgical sub specialties.

You will work in a well supervised and supportive environment under the guidance of Consultants, Post Graduate Fellows and SET Trainees. Decision making and supervision will be at the appropriate level according to your skills, knowledge and experience. You will be expected to adopt a progressively more independent approach to patient management according to your surgery experience.
This role has a well-established track record and is an ideal stepping stone to work towards acceptance into a recognised SET training program.
