We are an industry leader seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our senior leadership team as a Commercial Manager. Reporting directly to the CFO, this exciting opportunity has been created for an experienced Commercial Manager to lead and oversee all commercial activities, including contractual negotiations, evaluating contractual risk, developing processes and contract management.

You will play a key role in providing commercial insights and strategic guidance to support business decisions and drive the success of the organisation. You will advise senior leadership, oversee comprehensive contract management, and drive business growth through high-stakes negotiations and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

* Leadership in Commercial Strategy: Lead the strategic direction of commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives. Act as a trusted advisor on high-value decisions and business expansion opportunities.

* Senior-Level Contract Negotiations: Lead high-level, tier-one contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for the organisation and protecting its interests.

* Risk Mitigation & Compliance: Identify and manage contractual risks, ensuring decisions are legally sound and align with corporate governance.

* Strategic Contract Management: Oversee the contract lifecycle from negotiation through to execution and variations, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.

* Business Development & Tender Strategy: Provide strategic input on bids and proposals, ensuring alignment with the organisation's commercial strategy.

* Commercial Governance & Reporting: Ensure commercial activities adhere to policies and provide accurate reports to senior leadership on key commercial matters.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Law or related field (Master's preferred)

* Proven experience in senior commercial management, contract negotiations and strategic leadership working with Tier 1 organisations.

* Strong understanding of commercial law, risk management and corporate governance

* Exceptional negotiation and communication skills

* Demonstrated ability to manage high-level contracts and teams

* Strategic thinker with business acumen and a focus on growth
