We are seeking a Vocationally Registered GP to join an Aboriginal Health service in Katherine, NT for a 4-week locum placement, commencing mid-February and running through to mid-March 2026. There is potential for ongoing regular locum work beyond this placement.
The Role
You'll be working within a well-supported Aboriginal Health setting, delivering essential primary care services including:
* Aboriginal Health Assessments and health checks
* Immunisations
* Chronic disease and complex condition management
* Preventative and holistic care within a culturally safe model
You'll be supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team, including Aboriginal Health Practitioners, nurses, and allied health staff.

Requirements
* VR GP with Specialist AHPRA registration
* 2–3 years' post-fellowship experience
* Ability to travel to and work in the NT for a 4-week placement
* Interest and experience in Aboriginal Health
* Availability between February and March 2026
