About the opportunity:
The Sales Manager is part of the Wilson Homes Sales team and reports to the Chief Executive Officer. The key focus of this role will be to drive the growth of the Wilson Homes business to ensure that sales targets and objectives of the business are met. More specifically, you will be:
* Lead a team of Sales professionals, elevating the performance through mentoring, inspiring and coaching
* Track and monitor effectiveness of sales teams, and deliver against key metrics such as sales KPIs and customer satisfaction scores
* Oversee lead management effectiveness by driving timely follow-up, ensuring accurate activity tracking, and enforcing disciplined pipeline progression across the sales team.
* Provide regular sales reports and updates to the CEO and COO, collaborating on process improvements
* Manage the sales workflow and partner closely with marketing, product, operations, service, and customer experience teams to ensure alignment across all stages of the sales process
* Build and maintain relationships with developers and land agents to generate sales opportunities
* Mange the recruitment of new sales staff through identifying top performers and cultural alignment
About you:
You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will:
* Leadership experience within new home sales, and/or related sectors
* Strong aptitude to lead and develop the teams capability
* Experience executing sales strategies and pipeline
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to drive change
* Continuous improvement mindset to enhance results across the team
* Drivers license, willingness to travel to the north head office and display homes
* Willingness to work events afterhours and some weekends to meet the availability of our customers.
