About The Position
Bond University is currently seeking an enthusiastic and talented Library Officer to join the Library Services Customer Services team. The position is responsible for the provision of a range of frontline library support services at the Library Service Desks, with a focus on lending services.
The incumbent also assists in the administration of functional operations such as reserve processing, reading lists, document delivery, and inter-library loans. Quality customer service is the primary focus of this position.

We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused individual with a passion for library services and a strong grasp of current technologies. You'll be someone who thrives in a team environment, communicates with clarity and respect, and takes pride in delivering accurate, efficient support to both staff and students.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Bring
* A Certificate IV or Diploma in Library and Information Studies, or equivalent experience in a library or similar setting
* Strong technology and data entry skills, with experience using library management systems and a range of software applications
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to professional, responsive customer service
* Proven ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks, and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment
* Experience in a tertiary library and familiarity with the Library of Congress Classification Scheme are desirable.
Summary
Salary details
The salary for the position commences at $71,938.46 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
Please note: The fixed term of this employment contract will be for up to two years, with twelve months' probation.
Due to the role replacement nature of the position, at any time before the expiry of the term, the employer may terminate the employee's employment by giving four (4) weeks' notice or payment in lieu of notice at the employee's base salary (as at the revised date of termination).
