Family and Carer Support Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated Family & Carer Peer Support Worker to join our multidisciplinary team in the Hospital Outreach Post Suicidal Engagement program.
* Work collaboratively with clinical staff to provide support to consumers and their families/carers.
* Provide peer support to carers/families, advocating for them when required.
* Facilitate linkages to other support services that benefit carers in their caring role.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborative Support Provision
Work alongside clinical staff to provide emotional support and guidance to consumers and their families/carers.
2. Peer Support Advocacy
Advocate for carers/families by providing peer support and facilitating access to necessary resources.
3. Service Linkage Facilitation
Assist carers in linking with relevant support services to enhance their caregiving experience.
