About the Position
This role involves conducting high-quality research with a focus on quality and safety of care in aged care, medication safety, and integrated care. Key responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, planning and executing statistical analyses, and writing and dissemination of findings.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree qualification in a relevant field with extensive relevant experience. A PhD in Health Services Research, Epidemiology, Geriatrics, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related field is highly desirable.
Key skills and qualifications include demonstrated history of independent scientific contributions, excellent proficiency working with SAS, R, or Stata, and experience working with large datasets independently.
The successful candidate will also have excellent epidemiological and biostatistical knowledge, including experience working with observational data, multivariable modelling, missing data, confounding/interaction issues, and survival analysis.
