Job Description

The Role

We're looking for a motivated IT professional to join our growing IT team as an Analyst – IT Support (Level 1), based in our Canberra office. This is a full‐time, fully onsite role ideal for someone with at least 1‐2 years of IT support experience who's eager to build their career in a fast‐paced financial services environment. We're open to making this role work for the right person. Whether you're looking for full‐time hours, part‐time work, or a flexible arrangement that fits around your life, we're happy to have that conversation.

Reporting to the IT Support Team Leader, you'll be the first point of contact for Canberra office staff, providing responsive, high‐quality technical support across a broad range of systems and technologies. You'll gain hands‐on experience in an enterprise Microsoft environment within a regulated setting, with clear pathways to grow into Level 2 and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

* Providing first‐line technical support for Microsoft 365, Windows 11 workstations, and business applications
* Responding promptly to service desk tickets and user requests
* Troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues
* Assisting with workstation deployments, replacements, and equipment setup
* Supporting mobile device configuration and troubleshooting (iOS and Android)
* Maintaining accurate records of IT assets, incidents, and resolutions in line with ISO27001 requirements
* Adhering to ASIC regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies
* Communicating clearly with users at all levels and building positive relationships across the business

About You

We're keen to hear from IT professionals who genuinely enjoy helping people solve problems and thrive in a varied, fast‐paced environment. You're a quick learner who takes pride in delivering excellent service and understands that, in a financial services setting, professionalism and discretion matter just as much as technical ability.

Key to Your Success in the Role Will Be:

* Minimum 2 years of professional IT support experience (helpdesk, service desk, or similar)
* A relevant IT qualification (Diploma, Certificate IV, or equivalent)
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
* Experience supporting Windows 10/11 desktop environments
* Understanding of basic networking concepts (Wi‐Fi, VPN, connectivity troubleshooting)
* Excellent communication skills and a customer‐first mindset
* Professional presentation suited to a corporate environment

Highly Regarded but Not Required:

* Experience with Microsoft Intune or other endpoint management platforms
* Previous experience in financial services, banking, or other regulated industries
* Relevant Microsoft certifications (MS‐900, MD‐102, or similar)
* ITIL Foundation or other service management framework knowledge
* Exposure to ISO27001 or ASIC compliance frameworks

Our Benefits

We have a range of benefits that we think you'll like including daily breakfast options, purchased annual leave and regular wellness initiatives. We know our people work hard, so we have an active social and sporting calendar to ensure the balance of work and social is just right.

EEO Statement

We take our responsibilities to our people, clients and community seriously and as an equal opportunity employer, value inclusion and diversity. We are dedicated to fostering a diverse workforce and actively invite applications from First Nations People, individuals with disabilities, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
