A high-end residential builder is seeking a Structural Detailer to support the delivery of bespoke extensions and new homes. This is a technically focused role offering hands‐on mentoring from an experienced Construction Manager and exposure to premium, architecturally designed projects.
You will be responsible for producing clear, buildable structural documentation and working closely with project and site teams to ensure designs are well resolved prior to construction.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate structural drawings and documentation for high‐end residential projects
* Develop and maintain 3D models and construction documentation using Revit
* Translate architectural and engineering designs into practical, buildable structural details
* Identify and resolve structural and constructability issues early
* Produce plans, sections, details and schedules suitable for construction
* Work closely with the Construction Manager, receiving ongoing guidance and mentoring
* Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, architects and engineers
* Attend site visits to improve understanding of construction sequencing and methodology
* Respond to site queries and update documentation as required
About You
* Proficiency in Revit (essential)
* Exposure to structural detailing or construction documentation preferred
* Experience with SketchUp advantageous but not essential
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality documentation
* Genuine interest in residential construction and structural systems
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
* Willingness to learn and develop technical capability
