Job Title: Senior Research Manager - Autism Evaluation Program
Overview:
This role involves leading the evaluation of a pre-emptive pilot program for infants showing early behavioural signs of autism. The successful candidate will have experience in managing research projects and working with stakeholders to inform policy decisions.
About the Role:
The Assistant Director, Research and Evaluation Branch, is responsible for ensuring that agency policies, practices, and priorities are informed by trustworthy and robust evidence. This role will involve working closely with a team of experts to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions that are both efficient and cost-effective.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Managing the implementation and effectiveness evaluation of the pre-emptive pilot program;
* Working with internal and external stakeholders to scope, deliver, and govern the evaluation;
* Collecting and analysing quantitative, qualitative, and survey data;
* Designing and conducting other research projects;
* Communicating and supporting the implementation of research findings.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must be an Australian citizen and demonstrate:
* Experience in using sophisticated methods, including quantitative and qualitative approaches, and embedding the participant at the heart of the work;
* Able to work with external and internal stakeholders to scope, deliver, and govern the evaluation;
* Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end formative and impact evaluations that inform change;
* An academic or evaluation qualification; and
* Experience designing evaluations and producing evaluation logics that reflect stakeholder needs.
