Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* A minimum Year 11 education or appropriate trade qualification
* Certificate 3 Water Industry Operations - Wastewater Treatment (or willingness to complete)
* Physically capable of undertaking tasks concerned with the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants
* Able to carry out necessary basic math calculations and interpret results
* A basic understanding of hydraulics and mechanical plant
* Ability to become proficient in the application of laboratory procedures and practices
* Experience working as part of a on call/duty roster
* Strong OHS focus, commitment, and application
* Committed to contributing positively to your team and the organisation
* Ability to work effectively, or learn quickly, with computer-based technology
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational, self-management and problem-solving skills
