Your opportunity:
To enhance the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in rural communities in the Wide Bay (based in Gayndah and also servicing Monto, Eidsvold, Mundubbera, Biggenden, Childers, Gin Gin and Mt Perry).
This position is an advanced health worker position and particularly focuses on improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people including youth and adolescents and those living with chronic conditions and meeting Key Performance Indicators as required by the Wide Bay Hospital Health Service.
Under 25s of the Anti-Discrimination Act **** (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
