The Opportunity, Where You Come In:
Due to continued growth, we're seeking a Senior Civil Designer to join our Engineering team in our Perth Office. This is a permanent full‐time opportunity offering the chance to work on diverse and interesting projects.
The Senior Civil Designer will report to the Civil Design Team lead and assist with design and drafting across a range of civil, structural, and waste facility design projects. Design and drafting will include earthworks, road alignments, pavement drainage, roadwork ancillaries, waste cell development, waste capping systems, evaporation ponds and overall civil site infrastructure. You will transform engineering ideas from concept plans to high quality detailed design documents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Application of AutoCAD and 12d Model to prepare draft, concept or detailed 3D and 2D designs and drawings in line with industry standards;
* Collaborating with Team lead and engineers for efficient and accurate design outcomes;
* Ensure design and drawing compliance with relevant standards, legislation and company procedures;
* Quantities, calculations, and cost estimates.
Qualifications:
* Approximately 6+ years design and documentation experience in the civil engineering discipline;
* Strong proficiency in 12d Model and AutoCAD;
* Demonstrated design experience on earthworks, roads, stormwater and waste infrastructure projects;
* Experience working on local government and/or mining-related engineering projects highly desirable;
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
* Ability to operate independently and as part of a team;
* Strong verbal, oral and written skills;
* Full Australian working right.
