Due to sustained growth, we are currently looking to engage a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Property and Buildings group in our Brisbane office.
Our Property and Buildings team is a world-leading management and technical consultancy operating across all sectors. We are passionate about tackling the complex and sophisticated challenges of the built environment and delivering innovative and sustainable solutions to create accessible, resilient and liveable communities.
This role is vital to the ongoing success of our P&B Civil team in Brisbane and offers career development opportunities and professional growth. What You Will Do
* Work on iconic projects
* Work in a high impact, market-facing and civil engineering delivery focused role
* Manage ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with local clients
* Ascertain specifications and evolving client requirements
* Proactively determine, manage, monitor and control scope of works
* Ensure timely and quality of delivery for project and civil engineering work in support of relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards – and in alignment with schedules and budgets
* Manage effective stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally
* Provide sound technical/delivery guidance for the team
* Mentor, train and develop the careers of junior engineers
* Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.
About You
* Bachelor to Masters' level degree (Civil Engineering)
* Chartered status with Engineers Australia (desirable)
* Excellent expertise in civil engineering and design documentation, including sound working knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes
* Solid industry experience on Australian civil engineering projects, ideally in a consulting environment
* High level of expertise in effectively delivering multiple, concurrent projects ranging and scale and sector
