Contractor Rehabilitation Consultant - Occupational Therapist

Overview
We are looking for a Rehabilitation Consultant - Occupational Therapist to join our team in Newcastle as a Contractor. On a day-to-day basis you will be an integral part of the close-knit team of Kairros Consultants who work with and support people who have sustained a psychological or physical injury in the workplace.
Responsibilities
* Occupational Therapy assessments including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic and equipment assessments
* Be part of a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and return to work, always with your client's best interests at heart
* Deliver targeted intervention strategies to improve life independence, vocational capacity and functional performance
* Understanding a variety of healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes
Qualifications
Experience you will bring to the team:
* A willingness to travel (Current Vehicle and Drivers Licence compulsory)
* Full registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
* Qualification in Occupational Therapy
* A passion for injury prevention, facilitation of return to independence at work and at home, and the desire to make a difference
* Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to delivering what we say we will and when we will
* An inclusive and integrative attitude towards engaging with the many diverse cultural groups that make up the society in which we live and work
