Job Role: Rehabilitation Counsellor
Job Description:
Our organisation is seeking a skilled and passionate Rehabilitation Counsellor to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with clients who have experienced physical or psychological injury, providing them with the support they need to return to work and life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing initial assessment and intervention for job seekers with psychosocial and mental health barriers to employment.
* Performing vocational assessments and conducting case management for injured workers.
* Assessing and reporting on psychological functional capacities and making recommendations on effects of mental health and medical conditions on ability to work.
* Writing detailed case notes and reports.
* Supporting veterans in achieving their psychosocial, medical and return-to-work goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Holds a degree in Masters of Rehabilitation Counselling.
* Eligible for ASORC or RCAA accreditation.
* Graduated within the last 12 months or graduating in 2025.
* Agrees to a pre-employment national criminal check prior to employment.
* Has full Australian working rights.
* Hold a full drivers' license, own vehicle and comprehensive insurance.
