Job Description
Salters Panel Works are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Vehicle Painter to join their team in Echuca VIC. The successful candidate will need to possess and undertake:
- Ability to mix paint shades and select exact paint to match vehicle colour
- Sanding surfaces by hand and with power sanders
- Treating vehicles with rust -proofing chemicals
- Applying primer and finish coats with spray-guns, and sanding surfaces between coats
- Removing making papers, and waxing and polishing finished paintwork
Skills & Abilities:
- Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology or equivalent
- Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within related field
- Ability to work in a team workplace
