We're seeking a compassionate and driven Occupational Therapist who values a child-centered, family-oriented approach and collaborative teamwork.
About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you'll work independently while also contributing actively to a multidisciplinary team. Your focus will be on providing evidence-based assessment, planning and therapy support tailored to each child's developmental, sensory, and cognitive needs. You'll make a tangible impact on participation, independence, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct developmental and standardised assessments
* Develop functional goals in collaboration with families
* Provide therapy aligned with family priorities and evidence-based practice
* Deliver services within a transdisciplinary team and key worker model
* Support inclusion in community and school settings
* Monitor progress, review goals, and update therapy plans regularly
* Prepare professional reports for families and stakeholders including NDIS
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance standards
Selection Criteria
* Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA, or eligibility
* Experience in early intervention and solution-focused therapy
* Excellent communication and report writing skills
* Able to work autonomously and within a collaborative team
* Valid Driver's Licence, WWCC/Vulnerable People Check, Police Check
* First Aid and CPR accreditation
* Strong organisational skills and a client-centered approach
