Job Overview
A highly regarded environmental team in Darwin is seeking Professional/ Senior / Principal level Environmental Scientists/Engineers to support diverse projects across defence, government, mining, and oil and gas sectors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and manage timely high-quality environmental impact assessments, constraints analyses, strategic assessments, and environmental management plans. Assist in organising resources, budgets, and timelines for project management.
2. Perform key project-related tasks as required, including studies and assessments, data analysis, technical writing, and presentations.
3. Collaborate with the team to prepare advice, reports, and proposals for clients, and develop effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
4. Mentor junior members of the team.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline.
2. Environmental advisory and impact assessment experience, with a detailed understanding of relevant legislation and approval frameworks.
3. Strong commercial acumen and emotional intelligence to develop and maintain positive relationships and enhance client retention and growth.
4. A strong team player, influencer, and collaborator.
5. Confidence in translating technical information into accessible language in written work and other communications.
