Job Description Digital Project Director at Turner & Townsend is responsible for leading large‑scale, complex digital transformation programmes for clients. This role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on delivery management, ensuring projects meet client objectives and deliver measurable business outcomes. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will guide clients through digital strategy, technology implementation, and organisational change.
A key part of this role will see you responsible for developing partnerships, driving revenue growth and supporting service expansion.
You will join our National Advisory Team as part of the Digital Services Stream and support the management of the team, including resource allocation and performance oversight.
Service Delivery
Oversee the successful delivery of digital transformation projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and quality standards.
Serve as a senior point of contact for C‑suite stakeholders, delivering executive‑level reporting on programme progress, KPIs, ROI and risk mitigation.
Shape strategic digital transformation roadmaps, including investment strategies and product selections.
Shape key project delivery governance and lead cross‑functional teams, including consultants, technical specialists and third‑party vendors.
Advise on operating model changes and digital capability building, guiding the adoption of recent digital technologies within the organisation.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities in digital consulting across target industries.
Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects through networking, partnerships and thought leadership.
Lead proposal development, pricing strategies and contract negotiations.
Drive long‑term client relationships to ensure repeat business and cross‑selling opportunities.
Represent the firm at industry events, conferences and forums to enhance brand visibility.
Support the development of new services and product innovations for market release.
Team Management & Operations
Manage programme budgets, forecasts and profitability targets.
Undertake regular client cares to ensure service excellence and mitigate any risks that may be escalated.
Mentor and lead other team members to ensure consistent delivery standards.
Facilitate performance reviews and drive delivery standards throughout the team.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations.
Qualifications
A minimum of 10 years’ experience spanning consulting, digital transformation, business development, stakeholder engagement and leadership of high‑performing teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering or a related field (MBA or PMP/Agile certification preferred).
10+ years of experience in digital transformation and programme management within consulting.
Proven track record of delivering large‑scale, complex digital initiatives and system deployments.
Deep understanding of digital technologies and enterprise platforms.
Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong financial acumen and ability to manage multi‑million‑dollar budgets.
Strategic thinker with strong execution capability.
