Technician & technical support rep

Position Description The Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the maintenance workshop, product repair and preparation, and providing technical support via phone and email. The role plays a key part in ensuring product reliability, dealer support, and operational readiness of demonstration and internal equipment. Key Responsibilities Workshop Operations & Product Maintenance
* Manage the daily operation, cleanliness, and upkeep of the workshop facility
* Develop and maintain an efficient repair flow system
* Process job cards and strip/assemble units for spare parts supply
* Perform internal stock repairs as required
* Complete pre-delivery inspections for staff purchase products
* Maintain demonstration units and assess returned equipment, coordinating repairs as needed
* Maintain and service the trailer fleet when required
* Ensure workshop tools and equipment are safe, maintained, and operational
* Monitor and replace consumables as necessary
* Follow and enforce all safety policies and procedures
Technical Support
* Provide technical assistance to dealers via phone and email
* Support webinar training sessions when required
* Assist the Technical Support team with troubleshooting and product guidance
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in outdoor power equipment maintenance
* Willingness to develop expertise in battery and robotic products
* Mechanical knowledge of 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines
* Expert knowledge of product usage and applications
* Intermediate computer skills (MS Office and ability to learn new systems)
* Hands-on, practical working style
