With 30+ staff, Wellingtons provides accounting, taxation and business services to an impressive list of entrepreneurial clients and is experiencing a rapidly growing fee base.
Your new challenge
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a drive to grow their technical accounting knowledge and client relationship skills.
As the Graduate Accountant, you will be responsible for:
* Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for various entities including companies, trusts and superannuation funds
* Working directly with the Directors and Managers on various strategic matters for SME's and high net worth individuals
* Tax and cash flow planning including regular monitoring and reviewing client's income tax, GST and BAS requirements
* Research and preparation of advice in respect of technical tax issues, commercial issues associated with SME's
* Client contact via shadowing programs with Directors and Managers
About you
* Eligible to, or have commenced Chartered Accountants Australian and New Zealand (CA) program
* Exposure to or work experience in an Australian professional practice will be highly regarded
* Excellent written and communication skills
* High attention to detail
* Strong research skills
