About the Role Our valued client is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to support their timber sawmill operations across Wandoan and Theodore Mills. This is a full-time position involving regular work across both the Wandoan and Theodore timber sawmills. You will be working on a broad range of plant and equipment commonly found in timber sawmill environments, including materials handling systems, production machinery, water and wastewater treatment systems, and automated processing equipment. Tasks and Responsibilities * Providing a full range of electrical maintenance services, including urgent breakdowns, fault finding, preventative maintenance and component change-outs * Following safe work practices and site procedures * Complying with all Parkside policies, procedures and safety requirements * Contributing to the reliability and efficiency of sawmill operations Skills and Experience * Relevant electrical trade qualifications * Proven fault-finding and troubleshooting skills * Previous experience in a timber sawmill, manufacturing or industrial environment (highly regarded) * Ability and willingness to work regularly between the Wandoan and Theodore mills * Strong communication skills and basic computer literacy Benefits and Perks Salary negotiable based on experience Company vehicle, phone and laptop Ongoing training and development opportunities Secure, permanent employment Supportive, family-owned business culture Potential accommodation assistance for the right candidate About the Company This is a very large and reputable Queensland Company with a strong presence in the timber and sawmill industries.
