Experienced Labourer / Yard Worker / General Hand
Our client is a busy steel galvanising company seeking reliable and hardworking Labourers / Yard Workers / General Hands to join the team. Multiple positions are on offer.
This is a hands‐on role working in a yard and production environment, assisting with the handling and preparation of steel products.
Do you have a forklift licence? While not necessary, it is a definite bonus.
Pay: $ per hour. Super paid weekly.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 5:00am to 13:00pm.
Potential for long‐term placement. Immediate start available.
Duties
* Loading and unloading steel products
* General yard duties and housekeeping
* Assisting production staff
* Preparing steel for galvanising
* Operating basic tools and equipment
* Following workplace safety procedures
Qualifications and skills
* Previous labouring, yard, or factory experience
* A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
* Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
* Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
* Good communication and teamwork skills
