Architectural Technician - (Office based position, 12-month Contract)
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic person to join a progressive and dynamic team of professionals as an Architectural Technician. Our Company, based in Pakenham, provides services to the retail and commercial industry nationally.
Working as part of a close-knit team, you will be required to produce working drawings for commercial and retail interior fit outs. Therefore, proven experience working within these fields is essential.
The successful candidate will have the following skill set:
* Excellent communication skills
* Fast paced and deadline driven
* Construction and Architectural detailing knowledge and skills
* Joinery and Furniture detailing knowledge and skills
* Ability to prepare accurate and timely documentation which includes all relevant drawings from concept to construction
* Advanced computer literacy in Revit and other documenting software
* Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
* Current knowledge of all building regulations & Australian standards (BSA and NCC).
* Advanced computer literacy in Photoshop or similar program.
* Maintain all paper and electronic drawing processes.
