About the Role
As a Banking Consultant in our Retail Banking division, you'll play a key role in helping customers with a seamless banking experience. You'll meet each customer's end‑to‑end financial needs and goals across transaction activities, conduct needs‑based conversations, and educate them on the financial solutions available, including digital channels. This role is primarily branch‑based and requires delivering a high standard of customer service to ensure customers are not only satisfied but become strong advocates for ANZ.
You will be part of a collaborative team, acting as a role model and peer coach to deliver the best possible customer experience. You will be passionate about delivering on our Customer Promises to ensure customers leave the branch as strong advocates of ANZ.
Role Details
• Role Type: Permanent
• Location: 59 The Corso, Manly NSW 2095
• Work Hours: 25.5 Hours (Part‑time)
• Schedule: Monday – 9:00 AM – 4:15 PM, Tuesday – 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM, Wednesday – 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM, Thursday – 9:00 AM – 4:15 PM, Friday – 9:00 AM – 4:15 PM, Saturday – Not Rostered
What Your Day Looks Like
* Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy, creating real customer value
* Actively participate in and support bank programs and initiatives
* Take responsibility for 'knowing your customer' from a risk perspective
* Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures
What You Will Bring
* Exceptional customer focus – retail experience is an advantage
* Experience using digital channels and a desire to promote technology
* Lending experience or a willingness to progress to lending
* Ability to multi‑task and adapt to change and ambiguity
* Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment
* Sound understanding of compliance
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
