This firm is a growing small to mid size organisation in the industrial manufacturing industry with a strong presence in Port Melbourne. Known for its commitment to quality and innovation, the company prides itself on creating a supportive and rewarding work environment. This is a permanent full time role, located in Port Melbourne and initially will be a 5 day on site role.
Job Description
- Oversee all financial operations for the entire business, for Australia and International business unit
- Coordinate, analyse and report the financial performance to Management and Owner
- Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance
- Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures
- Ensure regulatory compliance with all taxation requirements on a local and national level
- Proficient in the use of XERO software for various financial functions
- Develop and manage financial controls within the organisation
The Successful Applicant
Key attributes we are looking for:
- End to end finance function management
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- CA/CPA qualification
- Familiarity with the construction process
- Comfortable in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
- Hands-on ability to work across AP, AR, and foundational accounting in early stages
- Tenacious, honest, with high integrity - someone confident to challenge or question when needed
